In the Tavria direction, the Russian invaders lost almost 2 companies of soldiers killed and wounded, as well as 14 units of military equipment in the past day.General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the commander of the Tavria operational grouping of troops, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“Battles are ongoing in the Tavria direction. In the past day, the enemy attacked our positions 27 times and fired 668 rounds. Artillery units of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction completed 1,418 fire missions during the day. The enemy’s losses in killed and wounded reached almost two companies,” the report says.
According to Tarnavskyi, 14 units of Russian military equipment were destroyed, including six armored fighting vehicles, one MT-LB, one 2S19 Msta-S howitzer, one 2A65 Msta-B howitzer, one 2A36 Giatsint-B gun, and vehicles.
Seven enemy ammunition depots were also destroyed.
As reported by Ukrinform, heavy battles are ongoing in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions, with 17 combat engagements recorded there over the past day.
