In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian air forces have launched 11 strikes on enemy targets, including two strikes on Russia’s air defense missile system positions.
The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
In addition, Ukraine’s missile and artillery units hit two enemy personnel clusters.
According to the General Staff, over the past day, Russian troops have launched five missile strikes and 12 air strikes, and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) 36 times. In particular, the enemy struck civilian objects in Hola Prystan and Kherson. Russian projectiles caused damage to residential houses, resulting in casualties among civilians.
The threat of Russian air and missile strikes is persisting all over Ukraine.
In the Volyn, Polissia, Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the situation remained unchanged. According to the General Staff, no enemy offensive groupings were detected. Russian invaders opened fire on the Sumy region’s Popivka and Oleksandrivka, and the Kharkiv region’s Strilecha, Hlyboke, Krasne, Hatyshche, Vovchansk and Dvorichna.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russian troops shelled the Kharkiv region’s Ivanivka, Kucherivka, Kyslivka and Kotliarivka, and the Luhansk region’s Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka.
In the Lyman direction, Russian occupiers struck the Donetsk region’s Terny, and the Luhansk region’s Ploshchanka, Chervonopopivka, Kreminna and Dibrova.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy used tanks, mortars and artillery to open fire on Spirne, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka and Ozarianivka.
In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops shelled Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka.
In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian invaders struck the Donetsk region’s Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva and Neskuchne.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian occupiers used mortars, cannon and rocket artillery to attack over 15 settlements, including the Zaporizhzhia region’s Novopil, Olhivske, Huliaipole, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka and Stepove, and the Dnipropetrovsk region’s Velykomykhailivka.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy launched mortar and artillery strikes near 12 settlements, namely the Kherson region’s Hola Prystan, Zolota Balka, Kachkarivka, Mylove, Antonivka and the city of Kherson.
According to the available data, Russia continues forcible passportization efforts within the temporarily occupied areas. In the Luhansk region’s Kreminna, those who work for the pseudo-state enterprises of the so-called ‘LPR’ and are not in a queue to obtain a Russian passport have their wages cut by 30%.
In the temporarily occupied areas of the Kherson region, Russian invaders are intensifying filtration measures. Russia’s FSB officers arrived in Novotroitske to check pro-Ukrainian civilians.
In order to replenish personnel losses, in addition to mobilization, Russians are conducting a propaganda and agitation campaign among the youth. In particular, cadet classes with enhanced military training are established in schools in the Kherson region’s Skadovsk district. Russian occupiers promise that the graduates will be given benefits when entering contract military service, namely will be appointed to sergeant positions.
