A Thunder Bay man has been charged with sexual interference, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, and parent or guardian procuring sexual activity of a person under the age of 18.
THUNDER BAY – A 39-year-old Thunder Bay man has been charged with numerous sexual offences following an investigation by the Thunder Bay Police Service.
The man, who cannot be named due to a publication ban ordered by the court restricting the publication of any information that could identify the victim, was arrested on Sunday, Aug. 1.
According to the Thunder Bay Police Service, he has been charged with two counts of sexual interference, two counts of sexual exploitation touch, one count of sexual assault, two counts of corrupting children, and one count of a parent or guardian procuring sexual activity of a person under the age of 18.
The man appeared in a Thunder Bay Courtroom on Monday for a bail hearing where he was released with conditions.
His next court date will take place on Sept. 28, 2021.
